Walker Interact Club earned the Community service award at Rotary District 5580 Conference .
This district covers the entire state of North Dakota, northern half of Minnesota and all the way up to a Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Interact students in grades 9-12 are service minded individuals who work together on a variety of projects to help others. The following projects are what earned WHA the top Interact spot.

Community Mitten Tree for WHA teacher classroom needs
Made and donated 20 fleece tie blankets to the Family Safety Network

Like Rotary and it’s motto, Service Above Self, Interact Club is an excellent opportunity for teens to learn to volunteer in their community and school.
Working together we can accomplish great things while helping others.

Our Business Professionals of America State Conference participants competed March 7-9 in Minneapolis. Congratulations to both students who represented WHA Schools with dignity and pride.

Katie Swanson was a top 10 finalist in Digital Publishing.
Ed Swanson earned 1st place in Computer Modeling and has qualified for the National BPA Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California in May.
